The Cancer Information Service is a joint program of the Canadian Cancer Society, Ontario Division, and the Ontario Cancer Treatment and Research Foundation.
In addition to the CIS in Ontario two other provinces offer telephone information about cancer. In Vancouver the B.C. and Yukon Division of the Canadian Cancer Society operates a Cancer Information Line and in Quebec Tele Cancer/Info Cancer operates from Montreal.
